Paid visits in June 2026
During June, most visiting hours on Thursdays and Fridays (from 10 AM to 4 PM, on the hour) are reserved in advance by school groups.
On June 13, the observatory will not be open.


Daytime visits
Saturday
(June 6, 20, and 27)
10:00 – 17:30


Saturday daytime visits are for groups of up to 15 people with a guide, every 30 minutes (last group enters at 17:30). Visits include a tour of the Observatory, a short lecture in accessible language, and telescope observations of the Sun (weather permitting and if the Sun is visible above the foliage in the park).

4 EUR / 7.82 BGN — adults


Children under 6 years of age and people with disabilities, upon presentation of valid documentation, are exempt from admission fees.

Please check the Observatory’s website for up-to-date information on daytime and evening visits and opening hours (which vary by season). Please note that on some of the listed days the Observatory may be closed to visitors due to student lectures, scientific seminars, schools and other events — this will be announced in advance on this page.
